THE BIOGRAPHY

The Secret Jazz Band featuring Katie Harris is a heartfelt revival of the most elegant eras of American music. The ensemble captures the sweeping romance of the 1930s Golden Age and the intimate, rhythmic "supper club" cool of the 1950s, bringing a timeless aesthetic into the modern day.

Led by a production duo forged in the recording studios of Los Angeles, the Collective brings "Session-Grade" precision to the stage. Fronted by vocalist Katie Harris and anchored by drummer Tom Brayton, the band is a continuation of a deep musical heritage. As the daughter of the legendary arranger and producer Johnny Harris (Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones), Katie brings an innate understanding of arrangement and atmosphere to every performance.

Based in the Los Angeles area, the band consists of premier session musicians dedicated to polishing the "secret" gems of the Great American Songbook. Whether delivering high-energy swing or lush, cinematic ballads, they provide a world-class soundtrack for the most discerning stages.
