The Secret Jazz Band is a vintage-inspired collective dedicated to the golden era of high-society swing and the timeless elegance of the silver screen. Led by vocalist Katie Harris and her husband, drummer Tom Brayton, the band brings a sophisticated "Jet-set Jazz" energy to Southern California’s most iconic stages.

Katie’s musical journey is as eclectic as it is prestigious. A seasoned touring and studio musician, her voice has been featured in major film and television productions, including:

With The Secret Jazz Band, Katie and Tom collaborate with a rotating cast of LA’s elite jazz instrumentalists—musicians who have performed alongside legends like Jane Monheit, Royal Crown Revue, and Jane Lynch.

From the Living Room to the Big Stage

The heart of the band is rooted in a deep, lifelong love for the Great American Songbook. Katie’s early jazz education came directly from her father, the legendary Johnny Harris (famed for his work with Tom Jones, Paul Anka, and Nancy Sinatra).

"My first memory of singing was me and Dad in the living room performing 'Come Rain or Come Shine.' I was ten years old, wearing a makeshift gown with sparkly fringe, and he made me feel like a proper crooner."
